Support staff
I love being able to support our tamariki 1:1 to engage successfully in school life. Outside of school you’ll find me studying towards my Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy, or out exploring in nature with my friends & whānau.
I have worked for over 20 years in the busy school office here at Houghton Valley School. Some of the administration jobs I do are the attendance register and communication. I deal with student injuries and illnesses, and look after the finances and payroll to keep the wheels turning in this busy environment. I live locally and enjoy travelling, walking and catching up with friends and family.
I enjoy working with a variety of tamariki across our school.
Outside of school, I enjoy swimming, gardening, exploring new walks with my kurī Frankie and spending time with my whānau and friends.
At school, it's all about the tamariki, helping them to do their absolute best!
Outside of school, I walk alot with my two dogs and spend the rest of the time with my whanau, particularly my two mokopuna.

I love to get lots of pats, listen to children read me stories, do roly poly dances on the field and sleep under tables. When I’m not at school I love to swim, play hide and seek and secretly sleep on the couch when no one is looking.
